Patent Litigation Associate — Intellectual Property, New York

Leading global law firm seeks a mid- to senior-level Patent Litigation Associate to join its New York IP & Technology team. The role offers exposure to high-stakes patent disputes across a range of industries and a collaborative platform for courtroom and appellate work.

Ideal candidates will have 6–8 years of patent litigation experience and technical background in electrical engineering, software, and/or pharmaceutical sciences. The firm offers competitive compensation and benefits; the expected pay range for this position is $390,000–$435,000 per year.

• 6–8 years of patent litigation experience (mid- to senior-associate level)
• Technical background in Electrical Engineering, Software, and/or Pharmaceutical sciences
• Experience managing written discovery, drafting briefs, and taking/defending depositions; some trial experience preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills; excellent academic credentials
• Admission to practice in New York
• Prior experience at a national or international law firm preferred
