Patent Litigation Associate — Intellectual Property

National law firm is seeking a mid-senior level patent litigation associate to join its Intellectual Property practice across multiple U.S. offices. The team advises clients on patent enforcement and defense, strategic portfolio management, and complex litigation in federal courts and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Associates are expected to take early responsibility on substantive matters, draft and manage core litigation work, and collaborate with trial teams and technical experts. The group emphasizes teamwork, entrepreneurial thinking, and professional development across a range of technologies and industries.

Positions are open in several U.S. offices; anticipated annual salary ranges (depending on office) are approximately $275,000–$350,000. Competitive benefits and potential contingent compensation are offered in accordance with location and experience.

• Mid-senior level patent litigation experience (generally several years in patent litigation matters)
• Strong briefing, motion practice and courtroom/advocacy skills
• Ability to manage discovery, e-discovery and work with technical witnesses
• Excellent written and oral communication; collaborative team player
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (or ability to obtain)
