Seeking a junior to mid-level patent litigation associate to join a well-regarded intellectual property litigation team in Richmond. The team handles complex patent disputes across technology sectors, representing both practicing companies and defendants in matters involving infringement, claim construction, invalidity and discovery strategy.

Successful candidates will work on all phases of patent litigation, collaborate with technical experts, and contribute to case strategy in a team-oriented environment. The practice is known for technical depth and market recognition in IP rankings and publications.

Juris Doctor and active bar admission (or eligibility) in the relevant jurisdiction
Junior to mid-level litigation experience in patent cases or related IP litigation
Comfort with technical subject matter; advanced degrees in engineering or science are a plus
Experience with claim construction, motions practice, discovery (including e-discovery), and coordinating with expert witnesses
Strong drafting, research, and courtroom/advocacy skills; ability to work collaboratively on complex matters
