Patent Prosecution Associate — Intellectual Property

Seeking a patent prosecution associate to join a national IP practice with strong technology and life‑sciences work. The group handles sophisticated prosecution matters for innovative companies at various stages and emphasizes technical depth, mentorship, and career development.

Ideal candidates will have 2–4 years of patent associate experience, a technical background (electrical/computer engineering, computer science, data science, physics, or equivalent), and USPTO registration or eligibility. Positions are open across multiple U.S. offices (including Silicon Valley, Boston, New York, Washington, D.C., and Seattle); admission to the bar where the work is performed is required.

• 2–4 years’ patent prosecution experience as an associate
• Technical degree (e.g., EE, CE, CS, data science, physics) or equivalent experience
• Registered with or eligible for registration at the USPTO
• Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction where work is performed
• Strong academic record and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
