Join one of the UK's leading specialist pensions litigation teams, where your expertise will contribute to some of the most significant and complex pensions disputes in the market. This is an opportunity to work on high-value disputes, regulatory investigations and market-leading contentious pensions matters, while collaborating with recognised specialists in the field.

As one of the few firms in the UK with a dedicated pensions litigation practice, we offer lawyers the opportunity to develop genuine specialist expertise in an area that combines technical legal analysis, strategic dispute resolution and regulatory advisory work. Whether your background is in pensions litigation, commercial litigation or professional indemnity disputes with pensions exposure, this role presents an outstanding opportunity to further specialise within a highly respected team.

The Opportunity

You will play a central role in advising clients on a broad range of contentious pensions matters, from high-profile disputes and regulatory investigations through to trustee advisory disputes, pensions equalisation issues and remedial litigation. Working closely with partners and colleagues across our wider pensions practice, you will have access to a breadth and quality of work that few firms can offer.

Your career here is exceptional by design: deliberately shaped to support high performance, deep sector expertise and long-term progression. As part of a specialist team embedded within one of the UK's largest pensions practices, you will benefit from a strong internal referral network, direct client exposure and the opportunity to develop into a recognised specialist in this evolving area of law.

What You'll Do

Bring your litigation expertise, commercial awareness and proactive approach to a team trusted by some of the UK's largest pension schemes, trustees and employers. Your role will involve:

  • Supporting clients through regulatory investigations and enforcement activity involving The Pensions Regulator
  • Acting on remedial litigation matters, including Part 8 claims, rectification applications and scheme construction disputes
  • Advising on pensions equalisation issues, systemic scheme errors and large-scale member complaint matters
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues across the wider pensions practice to deliver integrated and commercially advice
  • Building strong client relationships, supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of our specialist pensions litigation practice
  • Taking ownership of matters and working proactively within a partner-led team environment that encourages autonomy and development
