Post‑Clerkship Associate — Technology (Silicon Valley)

Top-tier national law firm seeks a post‑clerkship associate to join its Silicon Valley technology practice focused on emerging growth and startups. The role will handle transactional and advisory matters for venture-backed companies, investors and strategic acquirers across the technology sector.

Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, assisting on financings and M&A, performing legal research and due diligence, and counselling clients on regulatory and business concerns typical to high-growth companies. The associate will collaborate closely with partners and cross‑functional teams on complex, fast‑moving matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent clerk with strong interest in startup and emerging‑company work who wants immediate client-facing responsibility and mentorship within a large, sophisticated technology practice.

• Law degree (JD) from an accredited law school and active or pending bar admission.
• Recent judicial clerkship required or strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in technology, startups, venture financings or M&A.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and interpersonal skills; ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
