Apply in confidence →Join a major international law firm’s practice innovation team in Washington, DC to help attorneys integrate artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies into legal practice. The role combines solution design, hands-on technical support, and user enablement to drive adoption of AI workflows and automation across practice groups.
You will partner with attorneys and business teams to identify high-value use cases, develop and operationalize custom AI tools and playbooks, lead training and change efforts, and serve as a primary contact for an internal “AI as a Service” support program. The position requires frequent collaboration across teams and may support global initiatives.
This is a hybrid U.S.-based role focused on improving productivity, consistency, and client outcomes through practical, secure legal-technology solutions.
- JD degree required; membership in good standing preferred.
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience as a practicing attorney, legal researcher, or legal technologist in a legal environment.
- Demonstrated fluency with legal technology and AI (including GenAI/LLMs) and experience translating capabilities into practical use cases and workflows.
- Experience building or implementing technology solutions, with strong troubleshooting and user-support skills.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and change-management abilities; comfortable delivering group and one-on-one training.
- Preferred: advanced degree in informatics/library science, computer science, data/information systems, or related field.
