Private Equity Associate — Corporate (New York)

Top-tier law firm in New York seeks a 3rd–6th year associate with focused private equity and M&A transactional experience. The role supports private equity sponsors and portfolio companies on buyouts, mergers and related transactional work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Day-to-day work includes drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and ancillary transaction documents, and acting as a business-focused member of client-facing deal teams. The team values strong drafting and analytical ability, commercial judgment, and effective project management.
