Private Equity Associate — Corporate (Private Equity)

Established international corporate practice is seeking private equity associates to join its Northern California offices. Associates will focus on advising private equity sponsors and strategic buyers and sellers on M&A and PE transactions across technology and growth markets.

Successful candidates will run deal components, draft transaction documents, manage due diligence and client communications, and collaborate with senior lawyers on complex, high-profile matters. The role offers hybrid working with regular in-office presence in the San Francisco Bay Area.

• 3–6 years of private equity or M&A experience at a leading corporate law firm (AmLaw 100 experience preferred)
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to the California bar
• Proven transaction drafting and deal-management experience (purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, ancillary docs)
• Excellent written/verbal communication, legal research, commercial judgment, and ability to work independently and in teams
