Private Equity Associate — Corporate

Seeking an associate to join a national private equity and private funds practice. The role focuses on fund formation and transactional matters across private equity, real estate and private credit strategies.

Team responsibilities include drafting and negotiating formation and investment documents, supporting investment management and joint venture matters, and advising on related transactional work. The group works across multiple U.S. offices; this opening is available in Dallas, Richmond, Washington, D.C., or Houston.

Candidates should be committed to building long-term client relationships and to practicing in a collaborative, nationally recognized corporate practice. Admission in the hiring jurisdiction is preferred and must be obtained within one year of joining.

• 2–5 years' experience in private funds/private equity transactional matters (fund formation, investment vehicle documentation, joint ventures)
• Strong academic background with excellent analytical and drafting skills
• Demonstrated interest in client service and long-term relationship development
• Bar admission in the hiring jurisdiction preferred; required within one year of start
