Private Equity Debt Finance Associate — San Francisco

Mid-level associate opening in a busy debt finance team focused on private equity-backed transactions. The role involves representing private equity sponsors, banks and private credit lenders on term and revolving facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings and corporate growth.

Day-to-day work will include drafting and negotiating commitment papers, credit agreements and related collateral documentation on complex financings. The team emphasizes collaborative work across practices and offers exposure to sophisticated sponsor-driven deals.

• Several years' experience in leveraged finance or private credit, with work representing private equity sponsors and/or lenders on term and revolving facilities
• Proven skill drafting and negotiating commitment letters, credit agreements and security/collateral documents
• Strong academic record and prior experience at a comparable law firm or practice group
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
