Private Equity Debt Finance Associate — Washington, DC

Mid-level associate opportunity in a busy debt finance team focused on private equity-backed transactions. The role will support representation of private equity sponsors, banks and private credit lenders on leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings and growth financings.

Typical work includes negotiating and drafting commitment letters, credit agreements and security/collateral documentation. The team offers cross-practice collaboration and exposure to complex sponsor-driven financings.

• Several years' experience in leveraged finance or private credit, advising private equity sponsors, banks or private credit lenders
• Proven experience with term and revolving loan facilities for LBOs, acquisitions and corporate growth financings
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills for commitment papers, credit agreements and collateral/security documents
• Outstanding academic credentials, strong written and verbal communication skills, and relevant bar admission or eligibility
