Apply in confidence →Highly regarded international law firm is seeking an associate to join a US-based Energy & Infrastructure Finance team. The role will focus on a broad range of debt finance matters with particular emphasis on project finance and energy transition work, including renewable energy and infrastructure transactions.
Work will involve structuring, negotiating and documenting complex financing arrangements for lenders, sponsors and developers, with exposure to construction and term financings, syndicated and leveraged financings, tax equity and other structured finance solutions. The team operates across multiple US offices in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- 3+ years post-qualification experience, with strong preference for project finance or infrastructure finance experience
- Experience representing lenders, sponsors and/or developers on complex debt financings; syndicated/leveraged finance experience considered
- Familiarity with renewable energy projects and tax-credit / tax-equity structures preferred
- Top academic credentials, excellent analytical and drafting skills, strong client-facing abilities
- Ability to manage transaction workflows (real property, UCC, security interests) and supervise junior associates; admitted or eligible for admission in the relevant US jurisdiction
