Private Equity M&A Associate — Asset Management, Boston

Mid‑level to senior associate opportunity in a US-based private equity M&A team focused on asset management transactions. The role offers substantive deal work across asset management M&A, with emphasis on GP stakes and related private equity transactions.

Work will include negotiated acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture investments and exits, and equity compensation matters. The team values collaborative, entrepreneurial lawyers who can run deal components independently and manage client and external counsel relationships.

• Minimum 3 years PQE in corporate/transactional practice
• Documented experience in asset management M&A; GP stakes transaction experience preferred
• Broad transactional background (M&A, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity, venture financings, exits, equity compensation)
• Bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) in Massachusetts
• Strong commercial judgment, written and oral communication skills, and ability to manage internal and external relationships
