National law firm with multiple U.S. offices seeks a Private Wealth Senior Counsel to join its private wealth/estate planning practice. This is a multi-office search; remote and hybrid arrangements are considered, with preference for candidates in Dallas, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Nashville, or St. Louis.

The role focuses on designing and implementing sophisticated estate plans and advising high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses on wealth management, asset protection, and gift and estate tax matters. The position involves close collaboration with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets unit and requires delivering highly personalized client service.

Applicants should hold an active bar license in the state of the chosen office or commit to obtaining one promptly. For certain states the posted salary range is $185,000 - $275,000 (commensurate with experience); salaries in other markets vary by local market data.

  • Minimum of 8 years of private wealth / estate planning experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing sophisticated estate plans, including asset protection and gift/estate tax planning
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters under pressure
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Active bar license in the office state or commitment to obtain one promptly
  • Strong academic credentials and a record of client-focused service
