The position will support a busy team handling sophisticated lifetime and testamentary planning for family offices and closely held business owners, including multi-line and multi-generational matters.
The attorney will second-chair large matters, independently manage a caseload, supervise junior attorneys, and prepare tax projections, client education materials, and other client-facing workstreams. Significant opportunity to develop client relationships and a personal practice within a collaborative, growing group.
- 8+ years of relevant trusts & estates experience
- Demonstrated experience managing client matters from inception to completion and supervising junior lawyers
- Strong understanding of income, fiduciary, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax regimes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to step in on short notice and second-chair large, complex matters
