The department handles a broad spectrum of contentious and transactional real estate work, including development, investment, asset management, construction, telecoms, and landlord/tenant matters. Clients range from property management and development companies to house builders, health trusts, government bodies, owner-occupiers, and institutions, both in the UK and overseas.

The role will involve handling and assisting with:
- Serving statutory notices and advising on their validity and conditionality.
- Contentious lease renewals, termination notices, and proceedings.
- Interpreting and enforcing lease obligations.
- Arrears recovery and tenant insolvency matters.
- Obtaining possession of commercial premises.
- Service charge disputes.
- Dilapidations matters, including service of notices and advisory work.
There is also potential to develop a supervisory role, depending on PQE and experience.
- 0-3 PQE Solicitor with a strong educational background.
- Experience in commercial landlord and tenant disputes is preferable but not essential; candidates with a strong background in commercial or civil litigation looking to move into property litigation will be seriously considered.
- Ability to deliver commercial advice succinctly, comfortable with key date and tracker maintenance.
- Experience handling a varied workload in line with client protocols and appropriate supervision.
- Familiarity with client portals and case management software is useful.
- Willingness to support marketing and business development, including article writing, attending events, and client training.
