An established Real Estate practice in New York is seeking a mid‑level to senior transactional associate to join its growing development team. The role focuses on large-scale development matters, including public‑private partnerships and city development projects.

The successful candidate will work on drafting and negotiating development and regulatory agreements, advise on entitlement and incentive programs, and manage due diligence (title, survey, entitlements) across complex transactions. This is an opportunity to join a market‑leading group with significant NYC development work and substantive exposure to public and private stakeholders.

Minimum 4 years of substantive real estate transactional experience, preferably with development and NYC public‑private partnership work
Strong drafting and negotiation skills for development agreements, regulatory agreements and related instruments
Familiarity with New York City development incentive programs and entitlement processes
Experience conducting real estate due diligence (title, survey, entitlement review)
Outstanding academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication skills
