Real Estate Associate — New York

Top-tier New York office seeks a real estate associate to support real estate finance, acquisitions, joint ventures and related matters. The role involves working closely with a senior real estate attorney and collaborating across practice groups on corporate/project financings, acquisitions, sales and bankruptcy-related work.

This is a hands-on role with responsibility for managing diligence (including title review), negotiating post-closing deliverables and preparing purchase agreements, security instruments, leases and ancillary documentation.

• Class of 2020 6202 (junior associate level)
• Demonstrable experience in real estate finance, acquisitions and joint ventures
• Experience managing all phases of real property diligence, including title review
• Drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, security instruments, leases and ancillary agreements
• Strong academic record and ability/desire to work across practice groups
