Experienced real estate associate sought for a US-based practice with West Coast coverage. The role will be based in either the San Francisco or Los Angeles office and involves handling commercial and residential matters across a range of property types.

Day-to-day work includes managing transactions from diligence through closing, reviewing title and survey matters, drafting and negotiating leases and acquisition/disposition documents, and working with cross-practice teams on tax, trusts & estates and litigation issues. The role also includes client-facing work and participation in business development and practice-profile activities.

Admitted and in good standing with the California Bar
3–5 years’ experience in a law firm real estate practice
Experience with commercial leasing, conveyancing, financings, entitlements/subdivisions, and construction-related documents
Strong drafting, research and transaction project-management skills; attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication; proactive, team-oriented approach; cross-border experience a plus
