Midlevel associate role in a full-service US law firm’s real estate practice, open to candidates in the Seattle/Bellevue area. The position focuses on real estate finance transactions with significant work representing lenders on financings that support affordable housing, community development and public-private projects.

The role offers hands-on responsibility on construction and permanent loans, tax-credit and tax-exempt bond financings, and related commercial real estate matters. You will work closely with deal teams across offices, coordinate with public agencies and stakeholders, and support complex closings and documentation.

JD from an accredited law school and admission to practice in Washington State
Minimum 2+ years of real estate transactional experience, ideally with real estate finance matters
Experience representing lenders, borrowers, or developers on construction and permanent loans and other commercial real estate financings
Experience or strong interest in affordable housing finance, LIHTC transactions, tax‑exempt bond financing, or public‑private development projects
Skill conducting real estate and finance due diligence, including title and survey review, and supporting loan closings and financing documentation
Prior law firm experience, strong research/writing/analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple assignments independently and collaboratively
