The role involves counseling clients on procurement and federal grant matters, conducting compliance reviews and internal investigations, and representing clients in bid protests, contract disputes, and enforcement matters.
Work will span federal, state, and local procurement and grant programs, including advising on the FAR/DFARS, Uniform Guidance (2 C.F.R. Part 200), SBA small-business programs, and False Claims Act exposure. The role offers collaboration across offices and early substantive responsibility on complex regulatory and litigation matters.
- 3–6 years' substantive experience in government contracts, federal grants, investigations, or related litigation
- Experience with federal procurement rules (FAR/DFARS) and/or Uniform Guidance for federal awards
- Experience with bid protests, contract claims, GAO or Court of Federal Claims practice preferred
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills; excellent academic credentials
- Bar admission in the hiring jurisdiction (or ability to obtain promptly)
