Regulatory Defence Solicitor (Regulatory & Inquests)

Join a national regulatory defence team handling inquests, regulatory investigations and associated criminal work. The role is multi-office across the UK and will involve managing a personal caseload of inquests and regulatory defence matters, with some travel to attend hearings.

You will supervise and support junior colleagues, work with team leadership to meet service and financial targets, and undertake advocacy at pre-inquest reviews and inquests where appropriate. The role requires commercial awareness and a willingness to develop business within the practice.

• Qualified solicitor with 4-10 years PQE in regulatory/inquest or regulatory defence work
• Proven experience of representing clients in inquests, regulatory investigations or prosecutions
• Advocacy experience desirable; advocacy support available
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues
• Strong organisational, communication and IT skills; able to work to deadlines and targets
