Experienced regulatory healthcare solicitors are sought to join a growing Regulatory Healthcare Advisory team based in Birmingham. The team advises a wide range of healthcare organisations and professionals on complex regulatory matters, providing significant exposure to inquests, CQC investigations, Court of Protection work, Mental Health Tribunals and related advisory issues.

The role will primarily involve managing a caseload of inquest files for NHS bodies, care homes and other health and care organisations, with advocacy at pre-inquest reviews and inquests, client and witness preparation, and some wider regulatory advisory work. The position is based in Birmingham city centre with primarily Midlands coverage and occasional national travel.

Qualified solicitor, 2–10 years' PQE
Advocacy experience and willingness to develop further advocacy skills
Previous inquest experience; inquest advocacy desirable
Experience or strong interest in healthcare regulatory matters (NHS, private providers, care homes)
Excellent organisational, communication and IT skills; able to manage a caseload and meet deadlines
Ability to travel to hearings and attend court as required
