Work includes federal tax analysis, tax-credit eligibility and compliance, and transactional support for projects ranging from small installations to utility-scale facilities.
The role sits on a collaborative, cross-disciplinary team that counsels developers, sponsors and investors on the tax aspects of project development and financing. Washington-based role with a published local salary range and standard benefits; additional contingent compensation may be available based on performance and qualifications.
- Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to a U.S. bar (or ability to become admitted).
- Experience in federal tax law with a focus on renewable energy tax credits (ITC, PTC) or related incentives.
- Transactional experience supporting project financings, tax structuring, and documentation for renewable energy projects.
- Strong drafting, analytical and client-communication skills; ability to work collaboratively across practice groups.
