Apply in confidence →Our client, a premier law firm, is seeking a mid-level associate with 3+ years of experience to join its Energy, Transportation & Infrastructure practice. The role offers the opportunity to work across multiple U.S. offices, with a focus on renewable energy and energy transition transactions.
Responsibilities include representing sponsors, developers, investors, financial institutions, and other market participants in project finance and M&A matters within the U.S. renewables and power sector.
- Draft and negotiate project agreements, including PPAs, EPC contracts, and O&M agreements.
- Advise on tax equity structures and energy project development.
- Manage complex cross-functional transactions and interact directly with clients.
- Collaborate with a team-oriented, high-performance legal environment.
Qualified candidates will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and be admitted to practice in the relevant jurisdiction. Prior law firm experience is required.
- 3+ years of experience in energy/infrastructure transactional law.
- Experience in project finance, tax equity, and M&A within the renewables sector.
- Familiarity with negotiating key project documents (PPA, EPC, O&M).
- Admission to practice law in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction.
- Strong communication, analytical, and client-management skills.
