Restructuring Associate — Bankruptcy, New York

Top-tier international law firm seeks a restructuring associate for its New York office to work on Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings, including cross-border matters. The role involves representing debtors, committees, secured creditors, purchasers, and other constituents through all stages of complex bankruptcy matters.

The position offers hands-on responsibility, close collaboration with senior attorneys across teams, and opportunities for deposition and trial-preparation involvement. The group values strong analytical and writing skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the New York Bar, in good standing
• 2–4 years of restructuring/bankruptcy experience (Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings); cross-border experience preferred
• Demonstrated research, analytical, drafting, and interpersonal skills; trial or deposition preparation experience is a plus
