Restructuring Legal Director — Restructuring (Manchester)

Senior restructuring lawyer to join a national restructuring team based in Manchester. This role is primarily transactional and advisory, owning complex restructuring mandates and contributing to the growth and strategic direction of the local practice.

The post reports into the unit leadership and involves close collaboration with partners and colleagues across the firm's corporate, dispute resolution and recovery teams. The team advises lenders, insolvency practitioners, corporate boards and turnaround specialists on the full spectrum of financial and organisational restructurings.

This is a hands-on role combining client advisory work, project management of multi-stakeholder workouts, supervising junior colleagues and supporting business development initiatives with the wider unit.

• Established experience in restructuring and insolvency-related transactional and advisory work.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder restructurings and distressed transactions.
• Experience supervising and developing junior lawyers and contributing to team capability building.
• Commercial mindset with enthusiasm for business development and shaping local market presence.
