Restructuring & Special Situations Finance Associate — Bankruptcy, Houston

Top-tier restructuring team in Houston is seeking a finance-focused associate to support its Business Restructuring & Reorganization practice. The role centers on financing aspects of distressed and special-situations work, including in-court Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.

Successful candidates will work on liability-management transactions, debtor-in-possession (DIP) financings, exit financings and other special-situations financings. The position offers exposure to representations of hedge funds, CLOs, private equity sponsors and other financial institutions at the top of the capital structure.

• Law school graduating classes 2019–2023 (J.D. years indicated)
• Experience representing creditors or borrowers on liability-management, DIP financings, exit financings or related special-situations financings
• Familiarity with Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings
• Strong academic record, excellent drafting and client-facing skills
