Restructuring & Special Situations Finance Associate — Bankruptcy, Los Angeles

Top-tier restructuring team is seeking a finance associate to join its Los Angeles office. The role focuses on financing work within distressed and special-situations matters, including in-court and out-of-court restructurings.

Associates will work on liability-management transactions, debtor-in-possession (DIP) financings, bankruptcy exit financings and other special-situations financings. Typical engagements involve representations of creditors and borrowers, including hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds and other financial institutions.

• Law school class years 2019 through 2023 (newly admitted associates)
• Substantial experience on liability-management transactions, DIP financings or bankruptcy exit financings
• Experience representing creditors and/or borrowers in chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings
• Familiarity with distressed-debt and special-situations financing structures and market counterparties
