Restructuring & Special Situations Finance Associate — Washington, D.C.

Join a market-leading Business Restructuring & Reorganization team in Washington, D.C. The role is focused on special-situations and capital-structure work, including DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings, liability-management transactions and other distressed or out-of-court restructurings.

Successful candidates will work on top-of-capital-structure matters for financial creditors and sponsors — including hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds and other financial institutions — in both Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.

• J.D. and admission/eligibility to practice as required
• Law school class years 2019–2023
• Experience representing creditors or borrowers on DIP financings, exit financings, liability-management or other special-situations financings
• Strong drafting and transactional skills, and ability to manage complex restructurings
