Top-tier law firm is seeking a finance associate to join a market-leading Business Restructuring & Reorganization practice in the Washington, D.C. office. The role focuses on complex restructuring financings and special situations work across in-court and out-of-court matters.

Successful candidates will work on liability management transactions, debtor-in-possession and bankruptcy-exit financings, and other special situations financings. The position offers exposure to top-of-capital-structure representations for hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds and other financial institutions.

J.D. (law school class years 2019–2023 preferred)
Experience representing creditors or borrowers on liability management, DIP, exit financings, or special situations financings
Familiarity with Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings
Strong drafting, financial literacy, and transaction execution skills; ability to work in fast-paced deal teams
