Apply in confidence →Nationwide law firm is seeking a Section 337 Litigation Associate to join its Intellectual Property practice. This role is open across multiple U.S. offices, including a virtual option, and will focus on litigation before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC).
The successful candidate will work with the firm's Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation team on Section 337 matters, handling issues such as domestic industry, remedies, enforcement, and the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure. A technical degree is not required.
The firm offers competitive compensation and benefits; in certain states the posted base salary range is $215,000 to $250,000 (commensurate with experience). Associates are eligible for performance and client-development bonuses.
- 3–6 years' litigation experience, with preference for ITC/Section 337 work
- Participation in at least two Section 337 ITC cases
- Strong familiarity with ITC-specific issues: domestic industry, remedies, enforcement, and Rules of Practice and Procedure
- Knowledge of IP law; technical background helpful but not required
- Active bar license in the office state or commitment to obtain one promptly
- Excellent academics, judgment, interpersonal skills, and ability to manage multiple matters under pressure
