Apply in confidence →Leading projects, infrastructure and construction disputes team in Sydney is seeking a senior associate or experienced associate with strong dispute resolution experience. The role focuses on representing contractors and principals in litigation, arbitration, adjudication and day-to-day contract administration issues on large-scale infrastructure and construction matters.
You will join a collaborative, high-performing team that advises on end-to-end project issues from procurement and contract negotiation through to dispute management and resolution. The role offers exposure to nationally significant projects and cross-jurisdictional work across the firm’s projects practice.
The team values commercial judgment, high-quality drafting, and the use of technology to drive efficiency; there are mentoring and client-facing opportunities for lawyers who can manage matters with limited supervision.
- Qualified lawyer admitted in Australia with 3–8 years PQE
- Demonstrable dispute resolution experience in construction, infrastructure or major projects (litigation, arbitration, adjudication and contract administration)
- Strong drafting and advocacy skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to manage client relationships and supervise junior lawyers in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and a commercial approach to matters
