Senior Associate/Associate Director opportunity in a consumer finance team within a national financial services group. The role is open across multiple UK offices and involves advising on regulated consumer lending, payments and related product launches for banks, fintechs and retail clients.

The team works across consumer credit, point-of-sale finance, payments and subscription models, collaborating closely with technology, data privacy and digital teams to support new products and regulatory compliance.

This is a technically-focused role with client responsibility and career development support through structured training, feedback and progression pathways.

Qualified solicitor with substantial experience in consumer finance or financial services regulation.
Proven knowledge of the CCA regime and CONC, MCOB and BCOBS, and FSMA/RAO as they apply to credit-related activities.
Experience advising on regulated lending products (consumer credit, overdrafts, current accounts, mortgages) and familiarity with payments/FinTech matters desirable.
Strong drafting, regulatory advisory and commercial project experience; ability to work across cross-functional teams.
