Senior Associate — Construction (Professional Indemnity)

Experienced construction lawyer sought to join a national Professional and Commercial Risk team focusing on construction professional indemnity work. The role involves advising insurers on coverage issues and handling a varied caseload of professional negligence and construction disputes.

You will work collaboratively across a national team that operates from several regional offices, with hybrid working and genuine flexibility. The team acts for major insurers and handles complex, high-value construction disputes; there are opportunities to develop client relationships and progress professionally.

• Approximately 6+ years post-qualification experience in construction professional indemnity / professional negligence.
• Proven experience advising on insurer coverage and handling pre-action and litigated matters.
• Strong client-handling and relationship-building skills; able to manage a personal caseload and supervise junior fee-earners.
• Experience instructing experts and Counsel and familiarity with alternative dispute resolution (including mediation).
