The team combines contentious and transactional specialists and regularly handles adjudication, arbitration and litigation on behalf of major public and private sector clients.
The role involves running your own matters, managing small teams, providing strategic and commercially-focused advice on project and dispute avoidance/resolution, and contributing to business development and team strategy. The position is open to candidates across multiple UK offices with regular collaboration across the national and international practice.
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales
- Approximately 6 years' post-qualification experience handling contentious construction matters
- Strong technical knowledge of construction and engineering contracts and dispute-resolution procedures (adjudication, arbitration, litigation)
- Experience managing matters and mentoring junior lawyers; demonstrable commercial judgment and business development capability
