Apply in confidence →Senior associate role in a top-tier, global corporate M&A team handling complex private M&A and private equity transactions. You will draft, negotiate and manage principal transaction documents, lead due diligence, and coordinate cross‑disciplinary and cross‑border workstreams.
The team advises sponsors, corporates and financial institutions on acquisitions, divestitures, minority investments, carve‑outs, joint ventures and related commercial agreements across a range of industries, including energy, industrial manufacturing and infrastructure.
This is a New York‑based position with limited hybrid flexibility (occasional remote work permitted). The role includes mentoring junior lawyers and supporting client development initiatives.
- J.D. (or equivalent) and admission to the New York Bar
- Approximately 5 years' post‑qualification experience in private M&A and private equity transactions
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements, equity documentation, disclosure schedules and closing materials
- Track record coordinating cross‑disciplinary teams and working with domestic and international counsel on multi‑jurisdictional deals
- Experience managing complex due diligence, assessing legal risk and advising on transaction structure and negotiation strategy
- Comfort working on cross‑border, sector‑specific transactions (energy, industrial, infrastructure or related sectors) and mentoring junior team members
