Senior Associate, Corporate (M&A / Private Equity) — Sydney

An established international law firm is seeking a Sydney-based Senior Associate to join its corporate team focused on M&A and private equity transactions. The role offers extensive cross-border work across the firm’s global platform and exposure to complex, high-profile deals for sponsor and corporate clients.

This is a full-time, permanent role with opportunities for international and national secondments, structured local and global training, and interdisciplinary collaboration across practice areas. The team handles multi-jurisdictional transactions, providing strong transactional experience and career development.

• Admitted in Australia or New Zealand
• 5–8 years post-qualification transactional experience
• Prior training/experience at a top-tier law firm with strong M&A/private equity matters
• Strong commercial judgment, excellent written and verbal communication, and attention to detail
• Team player, resilient self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and business acumen
