Senior Associate / Counsel, Energy Regulatory — Austin

Seeking a senior-level energy regulatory attorney to join a leading Texas-focused energy practice in Austin. The role focuses on transactional and regulatory work for clients in the electric power sector.

Work will include drafting and negotiating commercial power agreements, advising on interconnection and facility extension matters, and supporting M&A and financing due diligence. Experience with proceedings before state and federal energy regulators is a plus.

• 5+ years post-qualification experience advising on commercial transactions in the electric power industry
• Experience drafting and negotiating power purchase agreements, tolling agreements, retail supply agreements, interconnection agreements, and facility extension agreements
• Experience conducting regulatory due diligence for M&A and financing transactions
• Familiarity with administrative proceedings before state and federal energy regulators (e.g., Texas and federal bodies) a plus
