Top-tier international law firm is seeking a senior associate for its Executive Compensation / Employee Benefits practice to be based in one of several U.S. offices (Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Palo Alto or Los Angeles). The team advises domestic and multinational clients on executive compensation, employee benefits and equity compensation matters across transactional and restructuring work.

The role will involve counseling clients on the compensation and benefits aspects of M&A, spin-offs, reductions in force, post-acquisition integration and other cross-border business change. The team works closely with deal teams on sophisticated, high-value matters in a collaborative, global environment.

  • 5–8 years' relevant associate experience in executive compensation, employee benefits and equity-based compensation
  • Meaningful experience supporting M&A and other transactional matters
  • California bar admission required
  • Strong analytical, drafting and organizational skills; client-service orientation
  • Large law firm experience preferred; ability to work effectively in a global team
