Senior Associate, Finance & Banking — New York

Senior associate opportunity in the finance team of a leading international law firm in New York. The role focuses on sponsor-side financings and a broad range of financing and securities transactions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating loan and security documents, intercreditor agreements and related transaction documentation; managing due diligence; and leading execution of transactions for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, secured and unsecured offerings, and liability management matters.

• 7+ years' post-qualification experience with sponsor-side leveraged finance and lending work
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security documents and intercreditor agreements
• Experience with leveraged sponsor buyouts, acquisition financings, secured and unsecured offerings, and liability management transactions preferred
• Strong academic credentials and prior experience at a top‑tier large New York firm preferred
