Senior Associate, Insurance Coverage Litigation

Experienced insurance coverage litigator sought for a busy, team-oriented practice. The role involves advising and representing insurers on coverage disputes under a wide range of liability policies, preparing coverage opinions, and handling all phases of coverage litigation.

Day-to-day work includes legal research and drafting, preparing pleadings and motions, managing discovery, attending depositions/hearings/mediations, and taking an active role in client communication and matter management. The position is open to candidates based in the United States with preference for those located in the Pacific Northwest.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in insurance coverage and coverage litigation.
• Experience with CGL, professional liability, D&O, employment, fidelity, excess, and property coverage issues preferred.
• Admission to practice in Washington, California, or Hawaii; additional bar admissions a plus.
• Excellent legal research, writing and oral advocacy skills; strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple, time‑sensitive matters and to communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.
