Senior Associate, Intellectual Property (Life Sciences)

An established international law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its busy Intellectual Property practice focused on life sciences. The role offers substantive work on patent prosecution and related IP litigation matters, working alongside experienced patent litigators and prosecutors on high‑profile matters.

The position is open to candidates for placement in any of the firm's U.S. IP offices (Boston, Denver, New York, Palo Alto or Washington, D.C.). Applicants should be prepared to submit law school, undergraduate and any graduate transcripts as part of the application.

• Experience in patent prosecution and related IP litigation matters, preferably with a life sciences focus
• Scientific/technical background relevant to life sciences (Ph.D., M.S., or equivalent experience preferred)
• Strong drafting and analytical skills; experience preparing patent applications and responses to patent office actions
• Ability to work collaboratively on cross‑office teams and manage client engagements; ready to provide academic transcripts on request
