You will manage a varied caseload of defendant disease claims (including asbestos, NIHL, HAVS and EL/PL matters), lead files through fast- and multi-track procedure and work closely with experienced litigators across a national practice. The team uses technology and streamlined processes to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused defence work for insurer and corporate clients.

This is a hands-on role offering development opportunities within a collaborative, client-facing team and scope for cross-office and international support on complex quantum matters.

  • Minimum c.5 years' post-qualification experience in defendant disease or defendant personal injury litigation within a law firm environment
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload of fast-track, multi‑track and DCP claims
  • Comfortable with regular client contact and working with insurer/corporate clients or TPAs
  • Strong litigation and file-management skills, including drafting pleadings and advising on strategy
  • Ability to work collaboratively across offices and to use legal technology and process-driven workflows
