Senior associate / special counsel role in a commercial disputes team focused on professional and financial services litigation, including claims against professionals and related insurance/coverage matters. The role involves running matters, appearing in court and providing high-quality defence advice to corporate and insurer clients.

Day-to-day responsibilities include independent conduct of litigation in Supreme, Federal and appellate courts, supervising and developing junior lawyers, contributing to practice learning resources, and supporting business development and client relationship activities.

The team promotes collaborative culture, structured professional development and flexible working options within a globally integrated practice.

Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience in commercial litigation
Proven experience running litigation matters in superior courts and appearing as required
Experience in insurance litigation and/or insurance coverage and professional indemnity matters preferred
Strong client service, drafting and advocacy skills; experience supervising junior lawyers and contributing to business development
