Senior Associate, Litigation (Toronto)

A well-resourced litigation team in Toronto is seeking a Senior Associate with strong insurance and civil litigation experience. The role involves end-to-end file responsibility across discovery, motions, mediations, trials and appeals, with exposure to professional liability, specialty insurance lines and a range of commercial and municipal liability disputes.

The successful lawyer will work closely with senior litigators on contentious and coverage matters, conduct examinations for discovery, draft pleadings and court materials, attend hearings and trials, and manage client and insurer relationships. Hybrid working and firm-wide development programs are available.

• Member in good standing of the Ontario Bar
• Approximately 5 years post-qualification civil litigation and insurance coverage experience
• Experience with professional indemnity (design professionals, brokers, accountants) and trial advocacy
• Strong legal writing, advocacy, judgment and client-facing skills
