Senior associate role in a market-leading marine assets and projects team based in London. The team focuses on transactional, non-contentious shipping and marine projects across the lifecycle of vessels and floating energy assets, acting for owners, operators and other industry stakeholders.

The post-holder will be a core member of the London team, working closely with corporate colleagues, marine litigation specialists and international offices on cross-practice, cross-border matters. Typical work includes shipbuilding contracts, sale and purchase, vessel financing and long-term charter arrangements.

3–4 years PQE in marine transactional work.
Experience with shipbuilding contracts, ship sale & purchase, ship financing, bareboat and long-term time charter parties.
Comfortable with BIMCO forms and drafting bespoke commercial contracts.
Strong technical legal skills, ability to manage a varied caseload, excellent communication and attention to detail.
Eligible to hold a practising certificate for work in England & Wales and committed to CPD requirements.
