Senior Associate / Principal Associate, Corporate — Leeds

A senior corporate lawyer role within a busy Leeds corporate team handling regional and international transactional work. The role focuses primarily on M&A with exposure to private equity, equity capital markets and corporate reorganisations, including cross-border mandates.

The team acts for a mix of large regional corporates and private equity clients and provides opportunities to work on matters referred from other offices. There is scope for client secondments, international collaboration and participation in business development and mentoring activities.

• 5-9 years post-qualified experience in corporate / M&A law
• Strong transactional M&A experience; private equity and cross-border deal experience advantageous
• Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and work to tight deadlines while delivering excellent client service
• Commercial awareness, willingness to contribute to business development and experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers
