Apply in confidence →12-month fixed-term role for a senior associate to join a market-leading projects & construction transactional team in London. The role focusses on high-quality construction and infrastructure work, supporting major development, energy and transport projects in the UK and internationally.
Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating a broad range of construction and project documentation (building contracts, EPC/FIDIC-style agreements, professional appointments, collateral warranties and framework agreements), and advising on procurement, risk allocation and construction aspects of financings and corporate transactions.
The post-holder will work closely with colleagues across real estate, energy, projects finance and corporate teams, may supervise junior lawyers, and will contribute to client work and business development initiatives.
- England & Wales qualified solicitor with approximately 5+ years' post-qualification experience in transactional construction/projects work
- Proven experience on complex construction and infrastructure matters and strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Commercially astute with a pragmatic approach to risk and procurement strategy
- Ability to manage multiple matters to tight deadlines and strong collaborative interpersonal skills
